The tools behind the cups.

Grinder
A compact manual grinder with 38 mm stainless-steel conical burrs and a click-adjustment system. It is the dependable starting point for the brews I make at home.

Accessories
A ceramic dosing cup with a small mist spray. A spritz on the beans before grinding cuts down static, so less coffee clings to the grinder.

Brewer
A glass V60-style dripper and carafe with an immersion-control lever. It gives me a clean pour-over setup while leaving room to slow down and experiment with the brew.

Dripper
A clear, reusable V60-style cone for one to four cups. Simple, light and easy to clean.

Brewer
The newest brewer in my setup. A clear chamber, paper filters, and a simple press, with a compact design that is easy to take along and quick to clean.

Kettle
An electric gooseneck kettle with a 90-degree spout. It gives me the slow, steady stream that makes a pour-over feel deliberate rather than improvised.

Kettle
A gooseneck kettle with temperature set to the degree, from 40 to 100°C, and a keep-warm mode.

Scale
A small digital scale with a built-in timer, so dose, water and time stay in one place. It makes repeating a good cup much easier.

Scale
A rechargeable scale with 0.1 g precision and a built-in timer, for weighing dose and water while pouring.

Consumables
Naturally bleached Size 02 papers for the V60. They keep the cup clean and let the coffee do the talking.
What I play, record and listen on.

MIDI controller
A compact 25-key controller with eight pads and eight knobs, small enough to keep on the desk next to the laptop.

Keyboard
A 61-key portable keyboard with Indian instrument voices and styles alongside the usual pianos and synths.

Guitar
A full-size acoustic with a spruce top and rosewood fretboard. Simple, sturdy and easy to pick up any time.

Audio interface
One mic input and one instrument input over USB, enough for recording vocals and guitar at home.

Microphone
A dynamic mic with both XLR and USB, so it works through the interface or straight into a laptop.

Headphones
Closed-back studio headphones for recording and mixing.
What I work and write on.

Monitor
A 32-inch full HD screen that doubles as a TV, with built-in streaming apps, speakers and screen mirroring.

Keyboard
A 75% wireless mechanical keyboard with hot-swappable, pre-lubed linear switches. Works over 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth or USB-C.

Earbuds
True wireless earbuds with active noise cancelling, a transparency mode and long battery life.

Power bank
A small 10000 mAh power bank with 33 W fast charging and USB-C in and out.

Travel case
A leather pouch that keeps cables, chargers, the power bank and adapters in one place when travelling.
What comes along when I'm away.

Trekking rucksack
A large, water-resistant rucksack with padded shoulder straps and back support, for treks and longer trips.

Travel backpack
A 30-litre backpack that opens flat like a duffle, with a padded sleeve for a 15.6-inch laptop and a rain cover.
